The Knox County Area Plan Commission (APC) meets regularly on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM EST in the Good Samaritan Hospital’s Cancer Pavilion located at 520 S. 7th Street, Vincennes, IN 47591. The Cancer Pavilion entrance is located near the intersection of 9th Street and Bayou Streets.
The Area Plan Commission commonly conducts public hearings to consider petitions for zoning changes, Major Subdivisions, Minor Subdivisions, Planned Unit Developments, and development plans for Commercial Solar Energy Systems.

The Knox County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) meets regularly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM EST on the third floor of the Knox County Courthouse located at 111 N. 7th Street, Vincennes, IN 47591.
The Board of Zoning Appeals commonly conducts public hearings to consider petitions for Conditional Uses, variances from zoning development standards, and appeals to Area Plan Commission staff decisions.
